SAPPHIRE vs. PTFE SKATES

100% PTFE SKATES

These mouse skates are designed for top speed and smooth gliding. With rounded edges, there is no scratching on the mousepad. The new adhesive keeps them flat and prevents bending. At 0.8mm thick, they are great for every mouse and pad. These mouse feet are originally designed for the G305 and were chosen because of the optimal weight to surface ratio.

SAPPHIRE SKATES

Our Sapphire mouse feet have an ultra-polished surface with a mirror finish, providing a smoother glide, low static and higher dynamic friction. The aggressive curvature gives more feedback on textured pads. The rounded edges ensure performance during off-axis movements. Easily sliding over any particles on the mousepad, so less disturbances in-game.

These mouse feet are incredibly durable, with a 9 Mohs hardness that makes them nearly impossible to scratch, except with a diamond. Made from whole single crystal boules, they are cut and shaped with diamond tools to keep the sapphire crystal structure intact. This skates last for a very long time.

They are 7mm in length, 5mm in width and 1.2mm thick. Not recommended for glass pads.

MOD-KIT vs. PRE-BUILT

What is special about PMM that you can decide whether you what to build the mouse by yourself or let us do the job for you. We assemble all mice in a workshop in Germany.

MOD-KIT

If you like to assemble the mouse yourself we call it a MOD-KIT. We provide instructions and assistance via Email and Discord if you need any help.

Our basic MOD-KIT standard packaging includes the mouse shell and a screwdriver, ensuring you have everything you need to build your mouse without requiring additional tools at home.

You can further customize your MOD-KIT with optional add-ons like skates, a battery, and a travel case.

Every box includes an alcohol pad, a cloth for hand grease, a sticker, and a small surprise.

PRE-BUILT

Our trained expert team ensures every mouse is built to perfection within 1-2 days.

Each standard pre-built package includes a ready-to-use mouse, complete with a 1K dongle and a Razer charging cable. Customize your mouse further with our range of add-ons. If you choose the LGG cable or 8K dongle, you'll still receive the Razer charging cable and 1K dongle.

Please note that the LGG cable does not work with the Razer dongle but is ideal for charging the mouse or using it in wired mode.

Pros:
-Great Lightweight & Unibody Design
-1:1 Shape via Original Viper V3
-Sturdy and Stiff Solid Shell
-Excellent Weight Balance
-Optional Carbon Fiber Rods for Extra Rigidity
-Sensor Position Aligned in Middle
-Build Process Smooth via Instructions
-The New Ultragrip 2.0 Coating provides smooth feel to it but also grippy without the slightly abrasive sandpaper feel from Ultragrip 1.0 like on the NEO 8K
-Battery Holder is an effective design choice and should be adopted to the other models like NEO 8K for example. Anything with excessive weight at the front will become front heavy thus making the mouse not actually feel what the desired weight was announced but this is a good step in direction
-Triangle Hole Design doesn't feel too different from regular holes but from some usage I do notice that my thumb can cave into the holes more and give extra grip necessary and other times my thumb can rest. It's still an interesting design choice to change up from the regular format you see with other mice

Cons:
-Fingerprint Oil is left on the mouse from usage but that can be wiped off easily via microfiber cloth provided in the kit
-Optical Switches not being the best for click feel as they feel mushy vs traditional mechanical switches. This is not a fault on the clicker design but just a flaw from optical switches as a whole

Overall experience:
The mod-kit is for someone who enjoys the viper v3 shape but desires the lower weight as that was holding back the original viper v3. The inclusion of carbon fiber rods is an interesting design choice, although entirely optional for someone who wants the extra sturdiness. Even without the rods its still a rock solid shell with 0 flex, 0 creak or bend. The clickers design being 1 piece with the unibody shell is a good choice as well to ensure nothing is at a risk of snapping. The scroll wheel functions per usual without issues along with the side buttons, although the optical switches aren't the best they still do the job just fine if you don't care for the switch feel.

Which skates are compatible

Since the bottom of the mouse is open, only G305 or dot skates are compatible.

How long does shipping take?

We ship from Germany with UPS and it usually takes 1-2 working days within Germany, up to 3 days within the EU and 3-5 days outside of the EU.

Which firmware works with the mouse?

You can use Razer Synapse

How do I turn the mod on and off?

To turn on the mouse, press the power button for 3 seconds. Pressing the button for a short time will change the DPI. Pressing it for 6 seconds will turn the mouse off. It is not necessary though since the mouse will go in sleep mode after a set time which is very energy saving.
