Size // 500x500x3.5mm
This size was chosen for two reasons. Most importantly our community asked for this size and this pad was made for the community. Secondly, 500x500mm is the perfect size since it allows for long swipes of low-sens players but not too big that it gets in the way of your keyboard. The thickness of the pad also was chosen because the community voted for it, and we agree with this decision since it allows for a soft base which doesnt become too wobbly while playing which can be the case on a thicker soft pad.
Softness // Soft
While we describe it as soft, the softness is different with each brand and it's not universal.
While our mousepad has a soft PU foam, the thickness of just 3.5mm gives it a firmer feeling enhancing control.
It is less soft than the ARTISAN Soft, however the ARTISAN Soft is also 4.5mm and not 3.5mm.
Base Material // PU
PU stands for Polyutherane, a foam commonly used for mousepads. Poron is also a form of PU.
Our pads have closed-cell PU which in contrast to open-cell PU has air bubbles that are separate from each other. This makes it more resilient to wear and tear compared to open-cell PU foam, which can compress and degrade more easily over time. It resists deformation, maintaining its thickness and shape even under prolonged use. The closed-cell structure prevents the absorption of water and moisture. This makes our pads easier to clean and more resistant to humidity, ensuring better longevity and hygiene. The uniform density of closed-cell PU provides a consistent feel and surface texture. It offers a smoother glide due to the stable and non-porous surface, enhancing the overall experience.
Rebound // Quick
The rebound of a mousepad refers to the time it takes for the surface to return to its original shape after being compressed by pressure, such as when you rest your hand or apply force during gameplay. A faster rebound ensures that the pad maintains its intended performance characteristics, providing a stable and consistent surface without dips or uneven areas forming over time.
Our pad features a highly resilient material composition and base design, engineered for rapid recovery. This minimizes compression artifacts, ensuring that even under heavy use, the surface remains reliable for both fast flicks and micro-adjustments. Whether you’re making rapid movements or holding steady control, the quick rebound ensures the pad performs consistently in every scenario.
Fabric Manufacturing // Knitted
In the past most gaming mousepads were woven. Modern high-quality mousepads usually use knitting.
Additional Features
// Low Static Friction
// Sub Surface Stitching
// Uncoated

THE ANATOMY
In this photo, you can see a cut section of the mousepad. The stitching is sub-surface, meaning it sits lower than the fabric. This design ensures the mouse won’t come into contact with the stitching during swipes, providing a smooth and uninterrupted glide.
To achieve this stitching, a carefully chosen ultra-flexible thread was used. The overlock stitching technique ensures a tight bond between fabric and base. This prevents the separation problem of unstitched pads.

SURFACE COMPARISON
The only difference between both pads is the fabric with a different material and knitting pattern.
C1P
S1P
Our control pad offers a low initial friction, followed by a smooth controlled glide with good stopping power. This pad is for you, if consistent tracking is of high priority.
The S1P combines low initial friction with a quick, fluid glide and a smooth fade-out. It can be considered a balanced speed pad since it still offers a decent amount of control. This pad is especially good for fast flicks and precise micro corrections.
The weave is tightly knitted resulting in a very fine cloth. Horizontal swipes are controlled, vertical adjustments have more resistance.
The knitting is a bit tighter than on the C1P. Horizontal swipes are very fast, vertical adjustments are more balanced.
This pad feels very soft on the skin. The texture can be described with smooth and matte.
The S1P texture is dense and shiny. It has a firm and stable feel - maintaining a crisp, defined surface.
FABRIC UNDER THE MICROSCOPE
The C1P has a grid-like structure with interconnected loops and small gaps between them. These gaps provide controlled friction, making it great for precise movements. The loops are evenly distributed to reduce wear over time, and the threads have a slightly fuzzy texture for added grip.
The S1P features a tighter knit with a pattern similar to a brick wall. The loops are packed closely together, creating a smooth and dense surface. This design helps maintain speed and momentum during fast mouse movements, ensuring smooth and consistent performance.

Developed with the PMM Community
At the beginning of our development process, we have done extensive research which exact pad the PMM community wants. Hundreds of members gave their input and we based the development on the desired requirements. We got the community input through multiple sources: Our Discord Channel, Twitter polls and General Surveys. Now we are excited to present the results.
Tested with Pros
The first samples were tested by Valorant pros, whose feedback shaped the final adjustments. The result are pads optimized for FPS games like CS2, Valorant, Fortnite, Rainbow Six, Apex, and more.
Limited Quantity
We produced only 100 units of each surface. Every pad will come with it's unique serial number.
FAQ
Discover additional information about the coverage of your warranty, the shipping process, and the product itself. Feel free to contact us if you require any additional clarification.
Are the dimensions exact?
Since the mousepads are hand made, the Length and Width [500x500mm] can have a variance of up to 10mm. The thickness [3.5mm] can have a variance of up to 0.5mm. Please be aware that every pad will be slightly different in regards to stitching, fabric or base. Since it does not negatively affect the performance these were not criteria for us to sort them out in our quality control process.
How long does shipping take?
We ship from Germany with UPS and it usually takes 1-2 working days within Germany, up to 3 days within the EU and 3-5 days outside of the EU.
How does QC work?
We check every pad by hand before shipping them out.
Do I have warranty?
PMM gives you a 1 year warranty on your pad. If you experience any problems, please get in contact with us.
How do I install the firmware?
Dude. It's a mousepad. There is no firmware. C'mon.
How do I clean the pads?
We don't recommend cleaning the pads with lint rollers. Instead use some warm water and soap to remove any grease. Finish with a thorough rinse.
No. Washing. Machine.
Regarding the anti-slip surface, we strongly recommend not to use alcohol to clean. It can chemically react.
Why aren't you producing a full-print Anime pad?
The goals for this pad were performance and affordability. Fully printed pads are more expensive to produce while not helping with the performance. That's why we either had to set a higher price or reduce the material quality with a printed pad. Both weren't an option for us.
What's the return policy on mousepads?
You can return the mousepad 14 days after arrival. It has to be unopened though so that it's possible to resell. An opened package is not a nice unboxing experience for the next customer and we can't guarantee that it's 100% clean either. We hope for your understanding.
